Beijing SMIC School is invested by Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (Beijing). It provides complete education for kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school. We have a large number of excellent foreign teachers, and our students come from more than ten countries and regions. The multicultural atmosphere here at SMIC school provides an international learning environment for students.

SMIC focuses on character education. Through character-themed class meetings, character dramas, and the annual charity sale, we are helping students to understand the value of gratitude by implementing activities of "children helping children".

*Beijing SMIC Nanhaizi Kindergarten, Puhui Kindergarten, located at Sihai Road, Daxing District, Beijing

Since its establishment in 2005, SMIC has adhered to the educational philosophy of "Character First, Pursuit of Excellence, Thinking the World, Growing Happily", and has developed a unique curriculum that integrates the East and the West with the goal of holistic education, and is committed to cultivating students' ability for independent exploration and lifelong learning, respecting students' individual development, encouraging children to have a global perspective and critical thinking, and cultivating socially responsible global citizens.

At present, the main campus (Liangshuihe 2nd Street) and the high school campus (Jiugong Fudian Road) of SMIC cover a total area of 41,300 square meters, with a total building area of 31,700 square meters. The library has a total of 80,000 volumes in English and Chinese. The school has more than 280 staff members, including 65 foreign teachers; 1,745 students, with 69 classes and students from 17 different countries and regions.

Children learn and grow together in the fertile ground of SMIC. Teachers adhere to the educational ethics of "love and responsibility", taking the best of Chinese and Western education and bringing together the best of multiple cultures. Beijing SMIC Kindergarten is a daycare kindergarten invested by Ssemiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (Beijing), established in 2005.

At present, SMIC Kindergarten covers an area of 5,800 square meters, with a building area of 4,475 square meters and a green area of 2,870 square meters. At present, there are 464 children and 93 teachers in the kindergarten, and 13 mixed-age bilingual classes and 4 international classes have been opened.

The kindergarten adheres to a mixed-age bilingual teaching model that combines Montessori and theme-based teaching, allowing children to fully discover and grow themselves. Parents have the opportunity to participate in the decision-making of major matters in the kindergarten and have the right to supervise and manage, forming a good co-parenting environment. Over the past thirteen years, the kindergarten has always taken the growth of the children as its responsibility, all for the development of the children, forming a teaching path with the characteristics of SMIC. Children learn happily and grow lively in the kindergarten, and develop good character and habits.

In 2015, commissioned by Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area, Beijing SMIC Kindergarten opened SMIC Nanhaizi Kindergarten on Sihai Road. Nanhaizi Kindergarten covers an area of 6,000 square meters, with a construction area of 5,589 square meters, 18 teaching classes, 538 children in the kindergarten and 76 teaching staff. Nanhaizi Kindergarten adheres to the educational philosophy and teaching model of SMIC Kindergarten, focusing on child development, developing children's potential, creating an environment for children and promoting their healthy growth.
