heart,SMIC's agility comes from the concept of happy growth. The school does not put test

scores and rankings in the first place, but returns to the essence of education more, creates a

good learning atmosphere, so that every child can become a better self. Therefore, when you

enter here, you will be attracted by the flowing pictures full of vitality in front of you.

The "shape and movement" in SMIC's characteristic curriculum is a clear main line that runs

through the children's learning career. Speaking of SMIC's English, no one does not give a 

thumbs up. Its characteristics lie not only in the unique content of the course itself, but also in

the deep intensive cultivation.

In the characteristic English class, teachers integrate English listening,

speaking, reading and writing into rich classroom links such as story

reading, role-playing, dancing, music and so on. In the Learning Center,

different learning contents are set according to the students' English

level, and the learning tasks of teaching and enjoying make students

full of expectations. Students will not move on to the next task until they

have completed the established learning tasks within the prescribed time.

From the first grade, this learning method is cultivating children's willing-

ness to learn, good at exploring, and the ability to think actively.

In the mathematics classroom, teachers encourage students to "move": touch, 

mea-sure, draw, and spell... Through observation and summary, students can find

clues and solve problems in a group cooperation way.

In chemistry class, the interaction between teachers and students also

makes the classroom atmosphere more flexible. "When cooking braised

fish, why do you add a proper amount of vinegar and rice wine to get

rid of the fishy smell and make the dish fragrant and delicious?" Accom-

panied by the chemistry teacher's questions and the display of braised

fish with good color, fragrance and taste, the students' thinking was

instantly activated, and the chemical reaction of acetic acid solved the

problem easily.

If classroom teaching is designed by teachers from the inside to the outside, then

sports is the exploration of students from the outside to the inside. Every year, the

school holds two campus sports meetings in spring and autumn, with the participation

of all teachers and students, which constitutes a unique sports scene of SMIC.


"Journey to the Silk Road", "Road to a Powerful Sports Country", "Sports and Gra-

titude"... The themes and forms of fun sports are eye-opening. "Big hands hold small

hands", students of all ages in low, middle and high schools work together with the

older helping the younger to complete sports events. The parents were touched and

said that only SMIC can design such a unique sports meeting


In fact, every elaborate design embodies the connotation of school education. Chil-

dren not only strengthen their physique through sports, but also invisibly embark on

an inward "character journey". Students grow up happily under the mutual influence

of good character, and also bring character sports out of the campus. In volleyball,

football, basketball, cheerleading and other international and domestic competitions,

SMIC's children not only won many honors, but also gave sincere applause when their

competitors achieved good results.


In the footsteps of running, in the sweat shed, it is the spirit of SMIC that is taking root,

sprouting, and growing.

Charity and public welfare are the consistent warm actions of SMIC School from

kindergarten to high school. The charity sale rooted in the hearts of every SMIC stu-

dent is a traditional social practice activity of the school and a gathering of graduates.

Every winter, kindergarten and school children raise money for orphans and disabled

children with cultural performances and hands-on crafts. More than ten years of per-

sistence, helping children with children, students feel responsibility and love in the

activities. A total of nearly one million charities have been raised to bring warmth and

help to orphans and disabled children.

The sense of service and social responsibility of high school students

should not be underestimated. They are enthusiastic about charity and

serving the community, which fully expresses the temperament and spirit

of SMIC. Since its establishment, the Charity Society of the Senior High

School has insisted on visiting the sick children of " small family " sup-

ported by the Children's Hope Foundation, and was evaluated by the me-

dia as the "Best Public Welfare Project Award" for private schools in China.

The high school student union is an important whole-person education position in the

school. Children perform their duties in activities, enhance their organizational and

leadership skills, and better serve others. In recent years, the student union has

gradually stepped out of the campus to serve the community and the nursing home,

providing important support for the cultural construction of the school, the sense of

belonging of students and the construction of the school community.

A combination of Chinese and Western, with an international perspective. Activities

such as International Day and Model United Nations allow children to find national

self-confidence in multiculturalism, and also understand the world from multiple 

dimensions. The choir sang and traveled to Europe, and the sounds of children of

nature resounded through the Golden Hall of Vienna.

At present, the school provides more than 70 project activity courses in six categories,

including sports, art, science and society, and more than 20 student associations in 

junior and senior high schools. Here, children's interests are respected, creativity is
