In late spring and early summer, it is a good time for sports.

Recently, the second primary and secondary school students' sports meeting in the Economic-

Technological Development Area was in full swing. Thousands of athletes from schools in the

 Area gathered together to participate in this sports event.

SMIC athletes not only showed their hard work and good sportsmanship in the school sports

meeting, but also made gratifying achievements in various events of the Economic-Technolo-

gical Development Area Sports Meeting.

A total of 175 athletes from SMIC School participated in this sports meeting and won 153 me-

dals. Among them, the junior high school group won the first place in the group's total score,

and the primary school group won the third place in the group's total score. Many students

won the first place in sandbag throwing, standing long jump, sprint, relay race and interesting

events.

The phalanx team was neat and uniform, and the children welcomed the opening ceremony

with vigorous steps and enthusiastic smiles.

As various competitions began one after another, the athletes worked hard towards the goals

in their hearts, constantly setting new records.

Although the track field was tense, with the continuous cheers and encouragement from the

audience in the stands, everyone was full of strength and rushed to the finish line.

The children showed good character of initiative, hard work, persistence and pursuit of exce-

llence on the field, encouraged and embraced their opponents off the field, and paid attention

to the environmental sanitation around the stand area of SMIC School, which also showed

the children's "SMIC quality".

This week, the school prepared a warm and simple lunch for the athletes who participated in

the district sports meeting to celebrate everyone's hard work and growth together.

When the children saw their photos on the field being made into videos, it was as if they had

returned to those exciting moments on the field. While eating delicious pizza, the beloved 

President Guo brought wonderful encouragement to everyone.

Principal Guo said that SMIC students are confident and sunny, and dare to fight hard. She

was grateful for the honor they have won for the school. They not only broke through them-

selves on the field, but also showed excellent character.

We cheer for ourselves, and also cheer for the athletes of other schools; we never say die on

the field, but also bring this spirit to our daily study and life, so as to surpass our own life and

become a better self.

The young athletes also delivered brief speeches.

Zuhao Zhang said that participating in the district sports meeting was the most stressful mo-

ment in his history, especially long-distance running, which is a test of endurance, and he

kept telling himself to persevere. The process of participating in the competition is a process

of continuous progress. I didn't get a good ranking this time. It doesn't matter. I will come

again next time. If you can enter the district competition and then enter the municipal compe-

tition, then continue to work hard. The greater the ability, the greater the responsibility.

SMIC children's acceptance of themselves and hope for the future always make people feel

like a beam of warm light that illuminates the bottom of their hearts. For the goals in mind, 

SMIC babies always have infinite confidence and strength to work hard and achieve them.

Finally, the teachers of the physical education group encouraged everyone. The hard work

of the athletes not only achieved good results, but also moved us a lot.

We were even more moved by the blossoming of good character when we saw every athlete

put into the competition, bravely faced the victory or defeat, cheered for SMIC and also cheered

for the opponents from other schools.

The spring track and field games have come to an end, but the spirit of sports still inspires 

us to move forward in our daily life and study.

At the same time, the Economic-Technological Development Area Intellectual Games are also

in full swing, five-pieces chess, chess and Go have attracted many chess lovers in the area.

In the five-pieces chess project, many students from our school won the championship.

This month, table tennis, badminton, taekwondo and swimming competitions will also be held
