Summer is the season of departure and the season of harvest. Before the arrival of this su-

mmer solstice, SMIC Primary School ushered in the long-awaited graduation ceremony.

"This summer is very dazzling, and the prologue of the past unfolds at this moment, which is

both fresh and bright; the footnotes of youth bloom in this season, the breeze blowing in front

of the window, and the cicadas singing in summer are both ordinary and shining."

"Six years ago, we stepped into SMIC with ignorance and innocence, and the teachers' earnest

teachings accompanied us to grow up; today, six years later, we are about to end our primary

school life, live up to our love, and go to the next poetry and distant place."

In the beautiful Chinese and English opening words of the host, the graduation ceremony of

the 2023 Primary School of SMIC School officially began.

The flag-raising ceremony was held amidst the solemn national anthem. The children thanked

their alma mater, teachers, and classmates. In this warm summer afternoon, they sincerely

said: Thanks for your company, it’s great to have you!

Chief Principal Guo Yuesha brought affectionate and powerful graduation encouragement to

the children, and looked back at SMIC's study and life in the past six years with the teachers,

students and parents present.

In the past six years, we had gone through the new curriculum standards, educational reform,

and even the unforgettable three-year pandemic together.

Principal Guo urged children to have good character and good health, as well as to work hard

to learn and enrich their life experiences. When you truly accept yourself and meet your needs,

your life will burst out with greater power.

At the same time, Principal Guo was also grateful for the companionship of parents and teachers

along the way, wishing every child and family a better future!

Next, the school leaders issued graduation certificates to all primary school graduates, and

awarded "Sports Star", "Art Star", "Creativity Star", "Class Quality Service Award", "Student

Union Quality Service Award", "Teacher Award" and "Principal Award" prize.

The student representatives spoke sincerely and enthusiastically. Looking back on six years

of primary school life, they were full of gratitude and reluctance. The speeches of the parents'

representatives were detailed and moving, and their love for their children and SMIC was

beyond words.

When the growth records of the children in each class were shown on the big screen, the 

teachers, students and parents in the audience couldn't help crying.

From the ignorant babies who just entered the school in the first grade to the graceful teena-

gers when they graduated, the children learn knowledge, made friends, and grew up happily

on the fertile soil of SMIC.

In SMIC, primary school life is enthusiastic and colorful, and children from seven classes in

grade six brought wonderful programs to everyone.

In "The Prosperity of the Han and Tang Dynasties·Time Travel", we feel the different vitality

and beauty between ancient and modern times; in "The Best of Us", we see the characteris-

tics of each child and feel the splendor and bloom of life; In "I Don't Want to Say Goodbye",

we share the affection and nostalgia at the graduation moment...

After the children's wonderful program, the seven head teachers of the sixth grade brought 

encouragement and advice to the children respectively. In the laughter and tears, in the touch

and expectation, we saw the deep emotion between SMIC teachers and students, and also

felt the power of SMIC education to hold everyone tightly together.

Finally, the graduates presented the flowers in their hands to their parents and teachers, and

thanked their parents for their company and dedication.

Wish the students study hard and achieve better results in the future; wish the teachers be

healthy and students all over the world; wish the alma mater a prosperous future and create

greater glories.

                                     Graduation Summer Highlights

On the occasion of graduation, the sixth grade teachers and students spent lots unforgettable

time together.

Learning time in the classroom, playing during the break, having lunch with good friends in 

the restaurant...Every bit of SMIC is a beautiful memory of primary school time.

Walked along the Liangshui River, picked up garbage along the way, protecting the environ-

ment; sat on the ground in the park, teachers and students talking and laughing, leaving the

parting behind, felt the good time of every moment.

In the sunshine of early autumn, we met at SMIC, laughed and grew up together, encourag-

ed and accompanied each other.

In the chirping of cicadas in summer, we parted with dreams and hopes, without saying good-

bye, see you later.
